Friendship or Love? Taoism Guides Your Fate

Emotional matters are undeniably a significant aspect of life. Beautiful love is something everyone yearns for, especially those who deeply value their emotions. It can be said that, for many people, emotions represent a significant part of their lives.

The orthodox Taoist ritual of 'Hehe Shu' (marital harmony religious ceremony) originates from the teachings of 'Hehe Er Xian' (the Two Immortals of Harmony), also known as the 'Joyous Gods' – Han Shan and Shi De. Over time, additional deities and figures such as 'Yuelao Xian Shi' (the Old Man Under the Moon), the 'Celestial Official of Matchmaking,' the 'Matchmaker Lady,' and 'Tianxi Xingjun' (the Star of Heavenly Happiness) have become prominent. This has even led to the misconception that these deities take precedence (in reality, according to Taishang Laojun, Yuelao Xian Shi was said to have acquired his marriage-protecting scriptures). There have also been practices aimed at praising 'Tianxi' and 'Hongluan,' which are more related to fortune-telling and superstition, rather than genuine Taoist rituals.

'Hehe Shu' (marital harmony religious ceremony) primarily focuses on Taoist rituals aimed at facilitating harmony in the context of marriage, love, and relationships. It can be applied to couples and lovers (including same-sex relationships), as well as interpersonal relationships among family members, friends, classmates, colleagues, and even negotiations involving cooperation. Genuine 'Hehe Shu' has become somewhat rare, with only a handful of traditional Taoist temples preserving the practice, mainly within the realms of 'Zhanyan Dao Pai' and 'Fuzhou Dao Pai,' or individuals with knowledge of relevant procedures. Other practices such as 'Gu Jiang' (poisonous magic) and other forms of love magic are not part of this category due to their harmful or counterproductive effects."

"First of all, 'Hehe Shu' is a form of Taoist magic, and paying homage to the power of 'Hehe Er Xian' is believed to promote harmonious relationships and the success of marriages. However, the prerequisite for the effectiveness of 'Hehe Shu' is that there is indeed a connection between the two individuals or the possibility of such a connection. If there is an existing connection, 'Hehe Shu' can help maintain it and prevent it from being missed. If there is no connection or if the connection has run its course, then no magic or spell will be effective, as people cannot go against fate.

Regardless of the specific Taoist sect or any folk diviner, before performing 'Hehe Shu,' the first step is to analyze the compatibility of the individual's birth charts using 'Bazi' (eight characters) marriage analysis. After this analysis, if the birth charts of both individuals indicate compatibility, then they are believed to have a connection. If there is a temporary crisis in the relationship, there are various methods to resolve and improve it, including the use of 'Hehe Shu.'

On the other hand, if the analysis of the birth charts shows that the individuals' compatibility is lacking and there is no connection, 'Hehe Shu' is considered ineffective. Even if it seems to work, it will likely only be a fleeting solution."
